About the 7-Eleven Logo Logo
Introduction
A giant numeral seven with the word ELEVEN pinned across its waist — the 7-Eleven logo in this download is the current identity of the world’s largest convenience-store chain.
Brand Overview
7-Eleven is an American-founded convenience store chain established in 1927 in Dallas, Texas, when ice-dock clerk John Jefferson Green began selling milk, bread and eggs from the dock; the stores traded as Tote’m before taking the name 7-Eleven in 1946, for their then-radical 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. hours. Headquartered in Irving, Texas and owned by Japan’s Seven & i Holdings, it runs more than 80,000 stores worldwide. Its official website is 7-eleven.com.
History of the 7-Eleven Logo
The numeral-with-wordmark design dates to the 1960s and has been modernised in careful steps: the 7 kept its orange brow and red sweep, the ELEVEN its green, while corners sharpened and the lowercase “n” quirk of older versions was regularised. The version in this download is the current mark as standardised in the 2021 refresh — the same sign glowing over Slurpee machines on five continents.
Meaning of the Logo
- The 7 as architecture: The numeral is drawn like a building — an orange roof over a red wall — a store reduced to its silhouette.
- ELEVEN across the middle: The word is pinned through the 7 like a shop sign nailed to a post: the name literally hangs on the number.
- Orange, red, green: A traffic-light trio chosen for the roadside — the three colours a driver can read fastest at night.
7-Eleven Logo Colors
| Color | Hex Code | Usage |
|---|---|---|

| 7-Eleven Red | #EB0F2A | The sweep of the 7 |
| 7-Eleven Green | #147350 | The ELEVEN wordmark |
Orange, red and green are the artwork’s only colours, and the space around the symbol in this download is fully transparent.
Conclusion
7-Eleven’s logo is a shop sign reduced to a number: an orange roof, a red wall, and the word ELEVEN nailed across the front.
