About the Action Logo Logo
Introduction
Blue italics with speed lines tearing off the first letter — the Action logo in this download is the current identity of Europe’s fastest-growing discount chain.
Brand Overview
Action is a Dutch discount retailer founded in 1993 in Enkhuizen, the Netherlands, by Gerard Deen and Rob Wagemaker, built on a simple formula: a constantly changing range of non-food bargains at the lowest possible prices. Headquartered in Zwaagdijk-Oost, Action has grown from one small shop into nearly 3,000 stores across Europe — one of the continent’s great retail success stories. Its official website is action.com.
History of the Action Logo
Action’s early signs were plain blue capitals; the current identity, standardised with the chain’s international expansion around 2020, slants the wordmark into purposeful italics and slices three pale-blue speed lines through the leading edge of the “A”. The mark in this download is that current version, as it appears over Action stores from the Netherlands to Spain.
Meaning of the Logo
- The italics: The whole name leans into the wind — a discounter in a hurry, always moving, never standing still.
- The speed lines: Three strokes tear off the A like motion blur: stock that arrives fast, sells fast and changes every week.
- Action blue: A deep, confident blue keeps the bargains looking trustworthy — cheap, but never cheap-looking.

Two blues are the artwork’s only colours, and the space around the wordmark in this download is fully transparent.
Conclusion
Action’s logo does what its stores do: moves fast and wastes nothing — six blue italic letters with the wind visibly behind them.
