About the BJ’s Wholesale Club Logo Logo
Introduction
White initials punched into a leaning red slab, with a small check mark for an exclamation — the BJ’s Wholesale Club logo in this download is the current tile mark of the East Coast warehouse club.
Brand Overview
BJ’s Wholesale Club is an American membership warehouse chain founded in 1984 in Hudson, Massachusetts, launched by the Zayre discount group and named, by company tradition, after the initials of Beverly Jean, the daughter of its first president, Mervyn Weich. Headquartered in Marlborough, Massachusetts, BJ’s runs more than 240 warehouse clubs and gas stations across the eastern United States. Its official website is bjs.com.
History of the BJ’s Wholesale Club Logo
BJ’s signage has always been dominated by the two initials in white on red; the current form sets them inside a slanted parallelogram — a slab that leans like a pallet being tipped off a forklift — with a small check-like swoosh over the apostrophe. The tile in this download is that primary club mark, the one used on club fronts, cards and the app.
Meaning of the Logo
- The leaning slab: The parallelogram is warehouse geometry — boxes, pallets and shelf racking — tilted with a sense of momentum.
- The check over the apostrophe: A small tick where the punctuation sits: the smart choice, approved — BJ’s value promise in a single pen-stroke.
- Initials only: Two letters and a continent of red: at warehouse scale, nobody needs the words spelled out.
BJ’s Wholesale Club Logo Colors
| Color | Hex Code | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| BJ’s Red | #C23054 | The tile field and check (the logo file’s own fill value) |
| White | #FFFFFF | The BJ’s initials |
The red tile is part of the logo itself — a self-contained mark — so the artwork in this download is the complete tile with no extra background added.
Conclusion
BJ’s logo is warehouse retail in miniature: two white initials on a leaning red pallet-slab, ticked off like a smart buy.
