About the Minute Maid Logo Logo
Introduction
White letters on a bold black badge with a leaf-shaped notch — the Minute Maid logo in this download is the 2023 global identity of the brand that invented frozen orange juice concentrate and became Coca-Cola’s first juice business.
Brand Overview
Minute Maid is a juice brand founded in 1945 in Boston, Massachusetts (as Vacuum Foods Corporation), which won a US Army contract to supply frozen orange juice concentrate. The Coca-Cola Company bought it in 1960 — its first move beyond soda. Its official website is minutemaid.com.
History of the Minute Maid Logo
The name — picked to suggest juice made “in a minute”, as if served by a maid — appeared for decades in homely serif lettering, later on a black label with a green-and-orange horizon line. In 2023 Coca-Cola unified Minute Maid worldwide under one identity (with regional names like Cappy and del Valle aligned to the same system): a solid black badge, white serif capitals, and a notch cut into the top edge shaped like a leaf line. That 2023 version is this download.
Meaning of the Logo
- The black badge: A shelf-blocker — one black shape that holds together dozens of juice variants across every market.
- The leaf notch: The dipped top edge abstracts a leaf and an orange grove’s horizon into a single cut.
- White serif capitals: A deliberate return to the brand’s 1940s label typography — heritage inside a modern system.
Minute Maid Logo Colors
| Color | Hex Code | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| Minute Maid Black | #101820 | The badge (the logo file’s own fill value) |
| White | #FFFFFF | The Minute Maid lettering (the logo file’s own fill value) |
Black and white are the artwork’s own fill values; on packs, flavour colours frame the badge but the logo itself stays two-tone.
Conclusion
Minute Maid’s 2023 logo is wartime ingenuity in a black badge — the juice that armed soldiers’ breakfasts, redrawn as one global mark.
