Introduction
The Extra logo sets the word ‘extra’ in white lowercase inside a deep blue disc with a cyan swoosh — Wrigley’s long-lasting sugarfree gum. Download the Extra logo in SVG and PNG formats below, free at VectorDose.
Brand Overview
Extra was launched by Wrigley in 1984 in the United States and became the first sugarfree gum brand to take major share there; its slim sticks of peppermint, spearmint and Polar Ice are now sold by Mars Wrigley in markets around the world, famous for ‘give Extra, get extra’ campaigns.
- Launched: 1984, USA
- Creator: Wrigley
- Industry: Chewing gum
- Owner: Mars Wrigley
History of the Extra Logo
The logo’s construction mirrors its sister brand Orbit: the name in white inside a two-tone blue circle, a star-like glint on the disc and the Wrigley’s signature above. It is the mark carried on Extra packs and brand materials — a blue badge built to promise one thing: flavour that lasts longer.
Meaning of the Extra Logo
- The disc: a blue planet of flavour, twinned with Orbit in the Wrigley family portrait.
- The glint: a small star sparkles on the disc — clean teeth, drawn as a twinkle.
- The lowercase: extra is an everyday word made ownable: soft letters, no corners, all chew.
