About the SF Express Logo
Introduction
A black circle split into the letters S and F, one red dot of punctuation, and the name in English and Chinese — the SF Express logo signs China’s largest courier, a company that grew from a single Shunde delivery route into Asia’s logistics giant.
Brand Overview
SF Express (顺丰速运) is a Chinese delivery services company founded in 1993 in Shunde, Guangdong, by Wang Wei, who started by carrying parcels between Guangdong and Hong Kong. Headquartered in Shenzhen, SF is now one of the world’s largest integrated logistics providers, with its own cargo airline. Its official website is sf-express.com.
History of the SF Express Logo
SF’s mark builds the company’s initials into a single roundel: the S and F interlock inside an open ring, the F carrying a red dot at its terminal. The lockup in this download pairs the roundel with “EXPRESS” in English capitals and the Chinese name 顺丰速运 (Shunfeng Suyun — “favourable wind, fast delivery”) beneath it — the standard corporate lockup SF uses across China and its international network.
Meaning of the Logo
- The SF roundel: Two initials engineered into one circular device — a wheel, a seal, and a stamp of the founder’s company in a single stroke.
- The red dot: A single spot of SF red (#D41224) at the F’s end — the seal-chop accent of Chinese corporate identity, and the only colour in the mark.
- The bilingual name: English for the world, Chinese for home — SF’s two markets given equal billing in the lockup.
SF Express Logo Colors
| Color | Hex Code | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| SF Black | #1D1D1B | The roundel and both wordmarks (the logo file’s own fill value) |
| SF Red | #D41224 | The dot within the roundel (the logo file’s own fill value) |
Both colours are the artwork’s own fill values, taken from the logo file.
Conclusion
SF Express’s logo is a seal for the jet age: two letters in a black ring, sealed with one red dot.
