About the TNT Express Logo
Introduction
Three orange circles holding the letters T, N, T — the TNT logo is a masterpiece of economy: the circles are the letters’ homes and the letters fill them completely. It signs the express network founded in Australia in 1946, now flying in FedEx colours’ closest company.
Brand Overview
TNT Express is an international express delivery company founded in Australia in 1946 by Ken Thomas as Thomas Nationwide Transport — one truck in Sydney that grew into a global network. Headquartered in the Netherlands, TNT was acquired by FedEx in 2016 in one of the industry’s largest takeovers. Its official website is tnt.com.
History of the TNT Logo
The three-circle mark is TNT’s long-serving identity: each initial stands inside its own orange ring, the rings overlapping like links in a chain. Through the Dutch postal years, the 2011 demerger, and the FedEx acquisition, the circles have stayed — the artwork in this download is that enduring mark, one of the most recognisable in European express.
Meaning of the Logo
- The three rings: Circles for wheels, for the globe, and for the links of a network — each letter given its own orbit.
- The filled letters: T-N-T in heavy block capitals that touch their rings — nothing decorative, everything load-bearing.
- TNT orange: A single signal orange (#FF6600) for rings and letters alike — the colour of TNT’s planes and trucks since the mark began.
TNT Express Logo Colors
| Color | Hex Code | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| TNT Orange | #FF6600 | The three rings and the TNT lettering (the logo file’s own fill value) |
| White | #FFFFFF | Backgrounds and reversed applications |
The orange is the artwork’s own fill value — a true one-colour logo.
Conclusion
TNT’s logo is three rings and three letters in one orange: a chain, a fleet, and a name, all in a single gesture.
