Brand Overview
Schleich was founded in 1935 in Stuttgart, Germany, by Friedrich Schleich. The company began with bendable figures and licensed characters, then found its calling in meticulously hand-painted animal figurines — farm animals, wildlife, horses and dinosaurs — sold in more than 60 countries. Its Horse Club and Wild Life lines are staples of toy shops and collectors alike.

History of the Schleich Logo
For decades Schleich used a serif wordmark, sometimes with a small flag. In 2022 the company rebranded around play and imagination: the new mark is a soft red pill containing the name in rounded lowercase white letters, with the brand’s red dot beside it — a deliberate move from collectible-serious to child-friendly.
Meaning of the Schleich Logo
- The pill: the rounded capsule feels like a tag or a button — the label you would tie onto a treasured toy.
- Lowercase letters: soft, unhurried type matches the hand-crafted, storybook character of the figurines.
- The red dot: the small satellite dot is a playful full stop, a spark of imagination next to the name.

The combination is a warm signal red carrying clean white type — friendly at toy-shop distance.
