Brand Overview
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) is Turkey’s national aerospace company, headquartered in Ankara and founded in 1973. It builds the KAAN fifth-generation fighter, the Hürjet trainer, T129 ATAK helicopters, and the Anka and Aksungur drones — the centerpiece of Turkey’s drive for an independent defense industry.

History of the Turkish Aerospace Logo
TAI was founded in 1973, after the Cyprus crisis taught Turkey the risk of depending on foreign arms, and grew from license-building F-16s to designing its own fighters. The current identity sweeps two blades — navy and red, the flag’s colours abstracted — into a rising wing-crescent, with the name in neutral grey beneath the national accent. The KAAN’s first flight in 2024 made the mark newly familiar worldwide.
Meaning of the Turkish Aerospace Logo
- The twin blades: a crescent and a wing in one rising cut — nation and flight fused into a single gesture.
- Red and navy: the flag’s red given altitude, paired with the engineer’s navy.
- The grey name: the state champion states itself quietly; the symbol does the saluting.
