Introduction
The Fluke logo is the name in black italic capitals. It belongs to Fluke Corporation, the American maker of electronic test instruments founded by John Fluke in 1948. Download the Fluke logo in SVG and PNG formats below, free at VectorDose.
Brand Overview
Fluke was founded in 1948 in the Pacific Northwest by John Fluke Sr., starting with bench power meters and growing into the world’s leading maker of handheld test tools — multimeters, clamp meters and thermal imagers that electricians treat as the default. Headquartered in Everett, Washington, Fluke is a Fortive company. Its name, as John Fluke told it, was a happy accident: a fluke is a stroke of luck.

History of the Fluke Logo
Fluke’s identity is built on yellow instruments and black italic lettering. The wordmark — heavy, slanted capitals — is used in black on the yellow tool bodies and, as sourced here, in its standalone black form. The italic has been the constant through the company’s growth from bench meters to the yellow multimeter in every electrician’s bag.
Meaning of the Fluke Logo
- The italic: slanted capitals give a measurement company a sense of motion — readings taken live, on site.
- Black on yellow: on the products the black wordmark sits on Fluke yellow, the most recognised colour pairing in test equipment.
- The lucky name: “Fluke” began as a joke about luck; the logo’s confidence turned it into the category standard.
