XCMG Logo Overview
Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group — XCMG — is a Chinese state-owned multinational and one of the three largest construction equipment manufacturers on the planet. It is the world’s biggest maker of mobile cranes and a major producer of excavators, loaders and concrete machinery.

History of the XCMG Logo
XCMG’s roots go back to 1943, when its predecessor arsenal workshop was founded; the group took its present form in 1989 in Xuzhou. As the company expanded across Asia, Africa, South America and Europe, it standardised on the blue XCMG identity: a geometric square mark whose chevron points down into the ground the machines work on.
Meaning of the XCMG Logo
- The square emblem suggests stability and the solid foundations XCMG machinery builds.
- The downward chevron inside the square points to the earth — excavation, grading and groundwork.
- XCMG Blue is a confident corporate blue chosen for global recognition far from its Chinese home market.
