Brand Overview
Huggies is an American brand of disposable nappies and baby wipes owned by Kimberly-Clark. First test-marketed in 1968 and rolled out nationally in 1978 as the replacement for the Kimbies line, Huggies grew into one of the two dominant nappy brands on earth, spanning newborn nappies, Little Movers, Pull-Ups training pants and wipes.

History of the Huggies Logo
The Huggies wordmark has always been drawn like the product feels: soft, plump, rounded letters with no sharp corners anywhere. The current master sets the name in chunky red capitals with a slight bounce along the baseline — a design that has survived decades of pack redesigns because parents spot it down a supermarket aisle in a fraction of a second.
Meaning of the Huggies Logo
- The rounded letters: every corner is softened — the typography of a cuddle, drawn for a brand named after a hug.
- The bounce: the letters sit at slightly playful angles, like a baby mid-wiggle, keeping the mark warm rather than clinical.
- The single red: a warm, confident red that owns its shelf block against the blues of its rivals.

Huggies letters its name the way a nappy should feel: soft, round and impossible to mistake — a hug typeset in red.
