About the Headspace Logo Logo
Introduction
A plain orange disc — no face, no fuss — beside the company name in relaxed lowercase grey: the Headspace logo in this download is the current identity of the meditation app that taught millions of people to sit still.
Brand Overview
Headspace is a digital mental-health company founded in 2010 in London by Andy Puddicombe, a former Buddhist monk, and Richard Pierson. Headquartered in Santa Monica, California, its app offers guided meditation, sleep and mindfulness programmes, and since its 2021 merger with Ginger it also provides on-demand mental-health coaching and therapy. Its official website is headspace.com.
History of the Headspace Logo
Headspace began as an events company whose early branding already revolved around a simple orange circle — the spot where your head should be. As the app grew, the circle stayed and everything else was stripped away: the current lockup pairs the unadorned orange disc with a soft, lowercase wordmark in warm grey, the version Headspace publishes today and the one in this download.
Meaning of the Logo
- The orange circle: A head, a breath, a moment of stillness — the entire meditation practice reduced to one calm shape.
- The warm orange: Headspace orange is deliberately un-clinical: cheerful and human in a category full of medical blues.
- Lowercase type: The quiet grey lowercase wordmark speaks at the volume the app teaches — low, slow and unhurried.
Headspace Logo Colors
| Color | Hex Code | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| Headspace Orange | #FF7E1D | The circular symbol (the logo file’s own fill value) |
| Headspace Grey | #3A3938 | The headspace wordmark (the logo file’s own fill value) |
Orange and warm grey are the artwork’s only colours, and the space around the circle and wordmark in this download is fully transparent.
Conclusion
Headspace’s logo is meditation drawn as punctuation: one orange full stop, and then the quiet name of the company that taught the world to pause.
