Armor All is an American brand of car care products, currently owned by Energizer Holdings and manufactured by the Armored AutoGroup of Danbury, Connecticut. The formula was invented in 1962 by polymer chemist Joe Palcher, who sold it from 1966 as Trid-On — no dirt spelled backwards. Car enthusiast and salesman Alan Rypinski discovered it in 1972 while restoring a 1959 Jaguar, bought the rights, renamed it Armor All Protectant, and patented it in 1976. The line now includes sprays, gels, wipes, and liquids that clean, shine, and protect automotive surfaces, sold in around 50 countries.
The Armor All name promises exactly what it sounds like — armor for your car. The logo is a bold, italicized wordmark that leans forward with speed and energy, conveying protection and shine. It has long appeared on the brand’s famous black-and-gold packaging, instantly recognizable on auto-care shelves worldwide.
The Armor All wordmark is a heavy italic sans-serif, traditionally shown in white or silver against black-and-gold packaging, with the 2024 refresh pairing the logo with vibrant orange. Whether you need an armor all logo png with a transparent background or an armor all logo svg vector for crisp scaling, the bold lettering stays legible at any size.
