Abarth & C. S.p.A. is an Italian racing and road-car maker founded on March 31, 1949, by Italo-Austrian engineer and racer Carlo Abarth in Bologna, with racing driver Guido Scagliarini. Moving to Turin the same year, it built a reputation for racing cars and high-performance exhaust pipes and tuning kits, many for Fiat models. Carlo Abarth sold the company to Fiat on July 31, 1971, after which it became Fiat’s racing department, its name living on as a badge on the most powerful Fiats. In 2007 Fiat relaunched Abarth as a standalone performance brand; today, under Stellantis, it produces sportier Fiats such as the Fiat 500, including electric hot-hatch variants.
The Abarth logo is a shield emblazoned with a stylized scorpion — Carlo Abarth’s own astrological sign, Scorpio. The shield symbolizes victory and racing triumph, while the Italian tricolor band honors the brand’s heritage. The scorpion, on bold yellow and red backgrounds, evokes speed and aggression — exactly the character of the performance cars the badge adorns.
The Abarth logo combines a yellow and red background behind the black scorpion, a green-white-red Italian tricolor band, and “Abarth” in white on a black strip. The wordmark is a bold, italic-style uppercase typeface that conveys speed. Whether you need an abarth logo png with a transparent background or an abarth logo svg vector, the flat shield artwork stays recognizable at any size.
