About Jooten
The Jooten logo corresponds to the Jotun brand identity — Jotun is a Norwegian multinational paints and coatings company founded in 1926 by Odd Gleditsch in Sandefjord, Norway. With operations in more than 100 countries, Jotun is a global leader in decorative paints, marine, protective and powder coatings. In the Middle East, Jotun is a household name for home paints, known for its iconic penguin logo and popular ranges such as Fenomastic and Lady. Its Fenomastic and Jotashield ranges are among the best-selling paints in Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf. The company’s protective coatings guard ships, oil rigs and landmarks worldwide.
Jooten Logo Meaning and History
The Jooten logo is one of the most recognizable paint-brand identities in the world, featuring the famous penguin emblem alongside the company name. The penguin — chosen because penguins thrive in harsh conditions, like Jotun’s protective coatings — appears in the brand’s signature colors. The mark’s friendly, distinctive design has made it a fixture on paint cans across the Middle East for decades, and the Jooten logo PNG and Jooten logo SVG are available as free downloads. The penguin emblem remains one of the most beloved mascots in the paint industry. The cheerful penguin softens an otherwise industrial brand.
