History of the Horsch Logo
Horsch was founded in 1984 at Sitzenhof near Schwandorf, Bavaria, where Michael Horsch — a farmer himself — began building machinery for large-scale arable farming. The company’s seed drills, cultivators and Leeb sprayers are now sold worldwide, and Horsch remains a family business known for farmer-led engineering. The heavy red italic HORSCH wordmark matches the pace of its machines. The current Horsch logo presented on this page is the official mark in use today, kept in its original colors and proportions.
Meaning of the Horsch Logo
- The slanted, heavyweight letters suggest a machine at full working speed.
- Horsch red is a strong signal colour shared with the company’s implements.
- The plain wordmark keeps the founder’s family name as the guarantee of quality.
