History of the TYM Logo
TYM began in 1951 as Tong Yang Moolsan, an agricultural trading and machinery business in South Korea, and grew into one of the country’s leading tractor makers. After absorbing Kukje Machinery, TYM unified its tractor business under the TYM brand, whose red faceted ‘T’ emblem and bold red initials now appear on compact and utility tractors sold across North America, Europe and Asia. The current TYM logo presented on this page is the official mark in use today, kept in its original colors and proportions.
Meaning of the TYM Logo
- The faceted red T is cut like a gem or a ploughed furrow — precision engineering for the land.
- TYM red, shaded from deep burgundy to bright scarlet, signals power and ambition.
- The wide-spaced T Y M letters below the emblem keep the mark open and confident.
