Introduction
A loose green signature led by a paw print — the Rover logo in this download is the current identity of the world’s largest network of pet sitters and dog walkers.
Brand Overview
Rover (Rover Group, Inc.) is an American online marketplace for pet care founded on June 13, 2011, in Seattle, Washington, by Greg Gottesman, Aaron Easterly and Philip Kimmey. Headquartered in Seattle, Rover connects pet owners with sitters offering boarding, dog walking, day care and house sitting across North America and Western Europe, and has been owned by Blackstone since 2024. Its official website is rover.com.
History of the Rover Logo
Rover’s name began life as “A Place for Rover” before shortening to the word in this download. The green script wordmark, with a paw print trotting ahead of the capital R, has fronted the marketplace through its growth from a Seattle startup to a Nasdaq listing and back to private ownership — an intentionally un-corporate signature for a company built on neighbours.
Meaning of the Logo
- The paw first: The print walks in ahead of the name — the dog literally leads, and the brand follows where pets go.
- The script: Handwritten-style letters keep a tech marketplace feeling like a note left by a trusted neighbour.
- Rover green: A leafy, park-walk green: the colour of the daily walk itself, Rover’s most-booked ritual.
Rover Logo Colors
| Color | Hex Code | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| Rover Green | #77C045 | The paw print and the complete wordmark (the logo file’s own fill value) |
The Rover wordmark is a one-colour identity in this green; the space around it in this download is fully transparent.
Conclusion
Rover’s logo lets the dog go first: a green paw print, then a name written like a friend signing a card.
