Blitz Games Studios was a British video game developer based in Leamington Spa, England. Founded in 1990 by twin brothers Andrew and Philip Oliver — first as Dizzy Enterprises, then as Interactive Studios from 1994 — it took the Blitz Games name in 2000. The studio became known for licensed family titles based on properties such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Bratz, The Fairly OddParents, and the Karaoke Revolution series, alongside mature titles like Reservoir Dogs from its Volatile Games division and serious-games work from TruSim. After 23 years and more than 230 employees at its peak, the company closed on 12 September 2013.
The Blitz Games logo captures the energy of its name — blitz suggesting speed, impact, and lightning-fast play. The identity pairs a dynamic, angular wordmark with bolt-like energy, reflecting a studio built by the Oliver Twins, who had already scored more than ten UK number-one hits with Codemasters in the 1980s before founding the company. The mark appeared across five divisions — Blitz Games, Blitz Arcade, Volatile Games, TruSim, and BlitzTech — from family games to medical training simulations.
The Blitz Games identity typically appears in bold, high-energy colors with an italicised, angular custom wordmark that suggests motion and speed. The flat vector artwork is built for crisp reproduction, so whether you need a blitz games logo png with a transparent background or a blitz games logo svg for retro-gaming artwork, the mark stays sharp at any size.
