About Atos Origin
Atos Origin was a major European IT services company headquartered near Paris, France. It was created in 2000 through the merger of the French IT firm Atos and Origin B.V., the former IT services arm of Dutch electronics giant Philips. The combined company became one of the largest technology services providers in Europe, offering systems integration, managed services, consulting, and outsourcing to corporate and government clients worldwide. Atos Origin later expanded further with major acquisitions, and the company dropped «Origin» from its name in 2011, continuing today simply as Atos. The 2000 merger created one of Europe’s largest IT services firms, with tens of thousands of employees across the continent.
Atos Origin Logo Meaning and History
The Atos Origin logo was a prominent corporate identity in the European technology sector during the 2000s. IT services brands of that era favored clean, confident wordmarks — often in blue tones suggesting trust, technology, and reliability — paired with simple graphic devices. The Atos Origin mark combined the heritage of both parent companies into a single forward-looking identity used across offices, contracts, and digital platforms worldwide. The Atos Origin logo png and logo svg files available here are a valuable free download for business histories, technology industry research, and editorial content on European IT services.
