About Arvin Sango
Arvin Sango, Inc. is an automotive parts manufacturer headquartered in Madison, Indiana, specializing in emission control systems, exhaust assemblies, stamped body components, and door impact beams. It was founded in 1986 as a 50/50 joint venture between Sango Co., Ltd. of Nagoya, Japan, and Arvin Industries of the United States, created to supply exhaust systems to Toyota’s first U.S. assembly plant in Georgetown, Kentucky. The first plant opened in 1988; the joint venture was dissolved in 2010, making Arvin Sango a wholly owned subsidiary of Sango Co., Ltd. The company has since expanded with plants across the U.S. and Canada and a new plant in Mexico.
Arvin Sango Logo Meaning and History
The company name simply combines its two founding partners – Arvin and Sango – into a single industrial identity. The logo is a clean corporate wordmark reflecting the precision engineering behind exhaust and emissions systems, a mark built for factory signage, product labeling, and B2B communications rather than consumer flash.
