About Arc

Arc is a free web browser developed by The Browser Company, a New York startup founded in 2019 by Josh Miller and Hursh Agrawal, both former Facebook employees. Built on Chromium, Arc reimagines the browser with a sidebar instead of a top tab bar, Spaces for organizing workflows, and built-in creative tools like Easels and Boosts that let users reshape websites. After more than a year in invite-only beta, Arc launched publicly for Mac in July 2023, followed by Windows and iOS versions. In 2024 the company released Arc Search, an AI-powered mobile search app.

Arc Logo Meaning and History

The Arc logo is a simple, friendly curve — an arc — rendered as a smooth, colorful gradient swoosh. The arc shape suggests a rainbow, a smile, and a fresh path forward, matching the company’s mission to reinvent the browser. It is deliberately playful and human, standing apart from the rigid geometric marks of Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

Arc Logo Evolution

• 2022 — The original Arc identity is introduced during the closed beta: a multicolor gradient arc mark.
• 2023 — A refined identity launches with the public 1.0 release and the redesigned Arc website.
• 2024 — The identity is extended to Arc Search, the company’s AI-powered iOS app.

Arc Logo Colors and Font

The Arc mark uses a vibrant multicolor gradient — warm pinks, oranges, and purples flowing into cool blues — paired with a clean, lowercase-friendly sans-serif wordmark. The gradient keeps the brand feeling creative and human. Whether you need an arc logo png with a transparent background or an arc logo svg vector for crisp scaling, the smooth gradient artwork stays vivid at any size.
