Amway Corp. — short for “American Way” — is an American multi-level marketing company that sells health, beauty, and home care products, based in Ada, Michigan. It was founded on November 9, 1959, by Jay Van Andel and Richard DeVos, who had built a large Nutrilite distributorship before creating the American Way Association. The company’s first product was Frisk, later renamed LOC (Liquid Organic Cleaner), followed by SA8 laundry detergent in 1960, Satinique hair care in 1965, and the Artistry cosmetics line in 1968. Amway bought a controlling interest in Nutrilite in 1972 and full ownership in 1994. It is the largest multi-level marketing company in the world by revenue, operates in more than a hundred countries and territories, and sits under the Alticor holding company founded in 1999.
The Amway name is a contraction of “American Way,” reflecting the founders’ entrepreneurial story of building a business from Ada, Michigan. The logo’s clean blue wordmark has carried the company through six decades of expansion, from its first cleaning products to a global portfolio spanning nutrition, beauty, and home care brands like Nutrilite, Artistry, eSpring, and XS Energy.
The Amway logo uses a confident corporate blue paired with white, projecting trust and cleanliness across its product lines. The rounded sans-serif wordmark feels modern and approachable. Whether you need an amway logo png with a transparent background or an amway logo svg vector for articles and presentations, the flat blue-and-white artwork stays crisp at any size.
