Amberley Labels is a UK manufacturer of premium self-adhesive labels based in Blandford, Dorset, with a heritage stretching back more than 40 years. The company is an award-winning decorative label business — a past “Label Printer of the Year” — producing highly embellished labels for premium gins and spirits, wines, fragrances and fancy foodstuffs using multi-process print and embellishment technologies. In August 2019 Amberley was acquired by the Coveris Group, the European packaging manufacturer backed by Sun Capital Partners, to support growth in the beverage, personal care and fragrance label sectors. Coveris then invested over £3.5 million in next-generation print and finishing equipment — including the UK’s first Pantec inline foiling unit and a hybrid inkjet press — and brought its Boston, Lincolnshire site under the Amberley brand umbrella.
In September 2020 Amberley unveiled a luxury rebrand designed by Optima, built around a bespoke brand mark with a standalone ‘A’ monogram. The identity was crafted to exude quality for design agencies and luxury brand owners, matching the elegant style of the award-winning labels Amberley itself produces.
The rebrand uses copper foil as its primary brand material, paired with a blue-grey brand colour, and the Collier typeface — inspired by early twentieth-century lettering with elegant nicks and flares.
