The Agricultural Outlook Forum (AOF) is the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s oldest and largest annual gathering. It began in 1923 to distribute and interpret national forecasts to farmers in the field, giving them the tools to read market signals and avoid producing beyond demand. Organized by USDA’s Office of the Chief Economist together with other USDA agencies, the forum now draws about 1,600 attendees each year — producers, processors, policymakers, and government officials from the United States and abroad — for sessions on commodity markets, trade, farm income, biotechnology, and agricultural innovation. The 102nd forum was held February 19–20, 2026, with sessions livestreamed.
The forum’s logo pairs a classic green serif wordmark with a wheat spray — the most universal symbol of agriculture. The restrained, official styling reflects the event’s status as a U.S. government gathering, independent of commercial interests, and the wheat motif ties it directly to the farmers it was created to serve.
The mark is rendered in agricultural green — a serif wordmark with a wheat-spray emblem, framed by horizontal rules. The green-and-white palette and classical typography communicate growth, official authority, and American farming heritage.
