Ayrton Senna da Silva (1960-1994) was a Brazilian Formula 1 driver widely regarded as one of the greatest racing drivers of all time. He won three Formula 1 World Championships, in 1988, 1990, and 1991, driving for McLaren, and claimed 41 Grand Prix victories and a record 65 pole positions across a career that also took in Toleman, Lotus, and Williams. He died at the age of 34 following a crash at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix at Imola. His sister Viviane Senna founded the Instituto Ayrton Senna in 1994 to advance education for children in Brazil, and the Senna name remains a global motorsport brand.
In the early 1990s, Senna created his own merchandise brand marked by the famous double-S emblem — two interlocking S letters drawn from his full surname, Senna da Silva. The mark is designed to evoke an S-shaped chicane on a racing circuit. The Senna brand appeared on apparel, watches, bicycles, motorcycles, and boats during his lifetime, and after his death it became the symbol of his enduring legacy, licensed by Senna Brands to partners such as TAG Heuer, Hublot, McLaren, and Ducati.
The Senna emblem is a bold, geometric double-S built for single-color reproduction — it most often appears in strong, high-contrast colors that recall the yellow of Senna’s iconic helmet and Brazil’s racing identity. The letterforms are custom-drawn with smooth, flowing curves rather than a standard font, and the flat vector artwork stays sharp whether you need an ayrton senna logo png with a transparent background or an ayrton senna logo svg for print.
