The Buffalo Bills are a professional American football team based in Orchard Park, New York, competing in the NFL’s AFC East division. Founded in 1960 by Ralph Wilson as one of the eight original American Football League teams, the franchise joined the NFL in the 1970 AFL–NFL merger.
