Asli Borek is a Turkish bakery brand specializing in borek, the beloved layered pastry of Turkish cuisine. The company began producing traditional water pastry in Goztepe, Istanbul, and today operates from a modern 15,000-square-meter production facility in Istanbul’s Dudullu Organized Industrial Zone. Asli Borek has grown into a franchise-driven chain serving fresh borek varieties — from cheese and minced meat to spinach fillings — alongside tea, pastries, and desserts. It is a staple of Turkish breakfast and snack culture, with branches across Turkey and a growing franchise network. The chain’s franchise model has carried the brand beyond Istanbul, with Asli Borek outlets serving fresh pastries daily in cities across Turkey and northern Iraq. Fresh borek is baked throughout the day, ensuring customers always get pastries at their crispiest best.
The Asli Borek logo is a playful, appetizing design built for a food brand. It features a white chef’s hat symbolizing culinary expertise, with the word “Asli” in a warm red cursive script and “BOREK” in bold uppercase red lettering, all set against a bright yellow banner. The yellow conveys freshness and cheerfulness, while red stimulates appetite — a classic food-branding combination. The logo’s friendly, handcrafted feel reflects the brand’s promise of authentic, freshly baked Turkish pastry. The chef’s-hat emblem instantly signals fresh, handmade food, while the red-and-yellow palette is a proven appetite trigger in quick-service restaurant branding.
