Aerosvit Airlines was a Ukrainian airline based in Kyiv, operating from 1994 until its closure in early 2013. During its peak, it was one of Ukraine’s largest carriers, flying from Boryspil International Airport to destinations across Europe, Asia, North America, and the Middle East. The airline played a key role in connecting newly independent Ukraine with the world in the post-Soviet era, operating Boeing aircraft on long-haul routes including New York and Bangkok. Financial difficulties following the 2008 crisis led to bankruptcy proceedings, and Aerosvit ceased operations in 2013. At its peak the carrier operated long-haul Boeing aircraft on routes linking Kyiv with New York, Bangkok, and Beijing. The airline’s Boeing 767s once linked Kyiv with far-flung destinations across three continents.
The Aerosvit Airlines logo was a distinctive mark of post-Soviet Ukrainian aviation. The airline’s identity featured stylized lettering with dynamic design elements suggesting speed and flight, rendered in colors that evoked the sky. Like many carriers of the 1990s, the Aerosvit brand combined a sense of national pride with the optimism of a newly open Ukraine. The Aerosvit logo png and logo svg versions offered here are a valuable free download for aviation historians, airline memorabilia collectors, and editorial retrospectives on Eastern European carriers.
