About Associação Atlética Santa Ritense
The Associação Atlética Santa Ritense is a Brazilian sports club based in Santa Rita do Passa-Quatro, in the interior of São Paulo state. Founded on 25 January 1927, the club is one of the traditional sporting institutions of its region, with red and white as its colors and the Tico-Tico bird as its mascot. The team plays at the Estádio José Pereira da Silva, which holds around 10,000 spectators. Santa Ritense’s biggest rivalry is with Sociedade Esportiva Cinelândia, a local derby known as the Derby Santa Ritense. Like many century-old Brazilian clubs from smaller cities, it represents community pride and the grassroots heart of Brazilian football.
Associação Atlética Santa Ritense Logo Meaning and History
The Santa Ritense logo is a classic Brazilian football crest built around the club’s red and white identity — vector versions of the mark use red tones around #CC262D paired with white. Football badges of this vintage typically feature a shield shape containing the club’s initials, founding year, and sometimes the mascot, following design conventions established by Brazil’s early clubs in the 1920s and 1930s. The red-and-white scheme is bold and instantly recognizable on kits and flags, and it ties the club visually to the passionate local rivalries of São Paulo’s interior leagues. The crest has remained fundamentally stable over the decades, a point of continuity for supporters across generations.
